Limitations

• Avoid contact with non-recommended surfaces to maintain optimal results.
• Do not use a large-pored sponge applicator as it may cause uneven coverage.
• Do not dip the applicator directly into the product to avoid bubbling and foaming.
• Not suitable for exterior use or as a finish for glazed ceramic or porcelain tiles.
• Not recommended for areas exposed to standing water, such as around pools, showers, or countertops.
• Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application to reduce the risk of slip-and-fall accidents.

Pre-Grouting Application for Porcelain Tiles:

• For unglazed porcelain or crackled finish tiles, apply Aqua Mix® Floor Shine & Hardener a minimum of 2 hours before grouting.
• After grouting, remove any leftover residue using Aqua Mix® Heavy Duty Tile & Grout Cleaner for a thorough finish.

Preparation:

• Always wear chemical-resistant gloves (such as nitrile) when handling this product.
• Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from any coatings. For old acrylic finishes or wax, use Aqua Mix® Sealer & Coating Remover to strip the surface.
• Aqua Mix® Floor Shine & Hardener can be applied over any Aqua Mix® sealer, except Stone Enhancer and Enrich’N’Seal. It is crucial to test the product on an obscure area to ensure desired results.

Floor Shine & Hardener Application Instructions

1. Read the label thoroughly before use.
2. Allow Aqua Mix® sealer to cure for 24 hours before applying Aqua Mix® Floor Shine & Hardener (unless specified otherwise on the sealer label).
3. Apply the product by pouring a small amount directly onto a clean, sealed floor, and spread evenly using a sponge mop or paint pad applicator.
4. Avoid overlapping and puddling to ensure a smooth finish.
5. Two to three coats are recommended for the highest shine, with 1-hour drying time between coats.
6. Clean tools with soap and water after use.
7. Reapply as needed, ensuring the surface remains clean and dry.

Equipment Cleaning

• Immediate Cleaning: Clean tools with mineral spirits right after use to maintain optimal performance.

Drying Times

• 3 hours after the final coat for light surface traffic.
• Keep the area dry for 12 hours after application.
• Full cure achieved in 24 hours.
