- Temperature tolerance: Excellent heat tolerance up to 44° C and performs best during periods of heat. However has a winter dormancy period where the leaf turns tan to brown at temperatures below 5° C. This breed of couch does not tolerate long periods of cold.

Position: 5-6 hours of direct sunlight per day. Fertilising 2-3 times per year using a Premium Fertiliser is reccomended.
Soil Type: Suitable for all types but free-draining soils are recommended.

Mowing Height: Tolerant of low mowing. Mow every 5-7 days in summer. It will go dormant in cooler southern-most climates that results in a loss of colour.
Uses: Can be used in both residential and sports landscaping projects such as football and cricket grounds.
