Limitations

• Surface Compatibility: Do not allow sealer to come into contact with non-recommended surfaces.
• Surface Discoloration: May slightly lighten or darken some stone surfaces.
• Acid and Chemical Resistance: Sealer will not prevent etching or surface wear from acids or caustic chemicals.

Preparation:

Ensure the surface is dry, clean, and free from waxes, sealers, or finishes. New installations must be completely dry (at least 24 hours) before application. Always test the product in an inconspicuous area to ensure satisfactory results. Protect surrounding surfaces from accidental spills.

Ultra-Solv Application Instructions

1. Test Area First: Always apply the sealer to a small, inconspicuous area to confirm desired results.
2. Application Tools: Use a pump sprayer, paint pad applicator, lambswool applicator, sponge, or brush.
3. Application Method: Allow the sealer to penetrate for up to 5 minutes. If the surface begins to dry within this time, apply more sealer to keep the surface wet for the full 5 minutes. After each application, wipe the surface dry with clean, dry towels.
4. Additional Applications: Porous surfaces may require multiple applications. Test after 2 hours by applying water drops. If the surface absorbs the water, apply an additional layer.
5. Clean-Up: Clean tools with mineral spirits after use.

Drying Times

• Between Applications: Allow 30 minutes at 20°C (68°F) with 70% RH. Longer times may be required under different conditions.
• Traffic Ready: Minimum of 2 hours.
• Full Cure: Achieved within 24 hours, with a minimum 12-hour dry period.
